Our Story
The Story Behind the Name
Two women. One legacy. And the inspiration behind everything we create.
Before it was a brand, it was a home.
With quiet mornings in Arouca, the smell of coffee, flowers in the garden, fruit from the trees, stories around the table and the feeling that there was always a place for one more.
At the center of those memories were two extraordinary women: Rosa and Flor.
Their story is our inspiration.
And that is why everything we create is meant to be useful, beautiful, timeless and made to stay — pieces to live with, love and pass on.

Rosa · Our father's mother
The woman who built a home alone.
When her husband emigrated to Brazil and never returned, Rosa was left to raise three boys on her own — aged one, two and three. Through hardship and solitude, she built a home filled with warmth, and raised her sons with unwavering strength and dignity.

Flor · Our mother's mother
The woman with room for one more.
Flor bore twenty-four children, and met a life given over to family with love and peace. Her home was always full — of laughter, the scent of fresh bread and the soft hum of lullabies — and somehow it always had room for one more.
They were very different women, but they left us the same kind of legacy: the feeling of home.
The smell of food cooking, fruit picked from the garden, flowers from the yard, warm kitchens, fireplaces, long tables and the simple comfort of being together.
Rosa e Flor is inspired by them — by the women they were, the homes they created, and the memories they left behind.
What We Carry Forward
Four things Rosa and Flor taught us, without ever meaning to.
Heritage & Nostalgia
Every piece draws from rural Portuguese tradition — handcrafted details and techniques that don't disappear with time.
Strength & Femininity
Soft fabrics. Durable construction. A balance between resilience and delicacy that mirrors the women who inspired it.
Simplicity & Elegance
Nothing here is loud. Just effortless, functional pieces that blend the past with how we actually live now.
A Sense of Home
Objects that don't just decorate a room, but belong in it — the way a grandmother's tablecloth belongs at a family dinner.
Their hands. Our hands. Your home.
We can’t give you Rosa’s hands or Flor’s kitchen. But we can give you what they gave everyone who walked through their door: something made with care, meant to be used, and built to be remembered.
